RAISING THE STANDARD

WHAT YOU HEAR

DJ Cortland playing a wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs
  • Every set is mixed live, in real-time. Reading the crowd, especially at the start of dancing is the key to building the energy level. When your guests can’t tell when one song ends and the next begins, the energy is exactly where it needs to be!

Whether it’s an elegant dinner or apacked dance floor, the music evolves with the moment—ensuring a seamless experience from the first song to the last

  • Sound should be designed for the room, not just placed next to the DJ booth.

We design every show for even coverage, ensuring music and speeches are clear at every seat. For larger spaces, we use satellite speakers with precise delays to maintain perfect balance throughout the venue.

We only use tour-level audio gear to deliver clarity, depth and balance.

  • Every show is planned to the highest standard. From mapping cues for mic handoffs during toasts to creating a 3D room design for audio and lighting - every detail is planned down to building backup plans for a flawless show.

WHAT YOU SEE

  • Every lighting setup is designed for impact, enhancing both atmosphere and energy.

    • Uplighting to enhance the venue, with the option for them to dance with the music.

    • Pin-spotting and spotlights for key moments.

    • Intelligent dance floor lighting that moves with the music for a fully immersive experience.

We partner with some of Denver’s top production houses so we can bring world class lighting to any venue.

  • I work closely with your décor and event layout to ensure my presence enhances the space rather than disrupts it.

Whether it’s a luxury wedding, a high-end corporate event, or an exclusive private party, the setup is refined, intentional, and seamlessly integrated into your event’s design.

    • Speakers are placed for both sound and aesthetics—never just placed for convenience.

    • Cables are carefully routed and hidden to maintain a clean, polished look.

    • Staging, DJ booths, and lighting rigs are positioned with precision, ensuring that every element of the production feels like a natural extension of the event rather than an afterthought. No clutter, no distractions—just a sleek, professional setup that elevates the atmosphere.

WHAT YOU DON’T SEE

  • With over 200+ weddings under my belt, I’ve developed a formula that ensures every key moment is planned in advance.

From the ceremony to the last dance, I’ll guide you through a streamlined planning process that covers every detail, preventing the worst thing that can happen: awkward pauses or missteps that disrupt the flow.

To make planning seamless, I use a collaborative online tool where we can track every detail together, ensuring nothing gets overlooked.

Example—during toasts, I don’t just hand someone a mic and hope for the best. Before I introduce them, they already have a microphone in hand, know exactly where to stand (marked for perfect lighting and video), and are queued for a seamless moment.

  • Every event starts with a full 3D venue map, where I design lighting, speaker placement, and sound coverage with precision. Using state-of-the-art software, I can visually show how lighting cues will look and fine-tune audio for flawless balance.

We will walk through this live on video calls, making real-time adjustments to ensure every detail is dialed in before event day

  • A flawless event comes from every team working in sync.

I coordinate with venues, planners, florists, décor designers, and even electricians to ensure everything—from lighting and sound to event flow—feels effortless. Before the event, the video team and I know what refresh rate for lighting and work with the photographers to design and position key moments like toasts for the best visuals.

At venues like The Broadmoor, I’ve worked alongside catering staff and production teams to fine-tune every detail, so nothing is left to chance.

Every show is powered by tour-grade gear from the industry’s top brands.
